  • Hours: 10-20 hours per week; must be able to work rotating Saturdays

Job Description:

Next Level Performance Baseball has a comprehensive approach to baseball training including assessments to identify deficiencies, timelines and goals, baseball skill instruction and client specific training programs with corrective exercise, strength and conditioning and nutrition education.  Our 10,000 sq. ft. facility has 7 batting cages and as well as a weight room. For all of our 1:1 and group services we utilize cutting edge tools and technology to enhance training and drive results.

 At NLP we understand that performance is multi-faceted and complex.  As you build up to a full athlete workload, you’ll be uniquely positioned to leverage your skillset as you oversee all of the foundational pillars of client development: biomechanics, throwing and hitting programs, data and analytics, strength and conditioning, nutrition, psychology and more

 Because of our rapid growth, Next Level Performance Baseball is seeking an additional instructor for our elite training facility.  NLP is a unique opportunity to level-up your coaching skillset.  Most coaches do not have pre-existing expertise in all of these performance pillars.  Once hired, you will be immersed in our training philosophy and approach with training to rapidly evolve your skillset.

Desired Instructor Characteristics:

  • Experience coaching and/or playing at collegiate or professional level

  • Passionate about baseball and helping athletes achieve Next Level Performance

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients, staff and stakeholders

  • Proficiency or strong familiarity with strength and conditioning, corrective exercise and nutrition concepts

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and teach new concepts

  • Comfortable with integration of science and technology in baseball training

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct 1:1 and group baseball training lessons, tailoring NLP instructional techniques to individual athletes

  • Build strong relationships with athletes and parents resulting in high retention including providing excellent customer service and feedback on athlete progress, recommending additional services to enhance player development and demonstrating results

  • Support additional programs (Camps, Clinics, etc.) and participate in company related events.

  • Collaborate with our team to produce high quality content and educational materials

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Background playing collegiate or professional baseball preferred

  • Prior experience providing private, one-on-one and group training preferred

  • Availability to work afternoons and evenings as well as weekends and holidays

  • Ability to kneel, bend, reach, climb and stand for long durations of time

  • Ability to move and lift equipment and supplies of 30+ pounds
