Real Players, Real Results

  • I have been working with Mason for 4 years focusing on hitting and pitching as well as performance training. Mason has pushed me to be the best I can be. Mason does training at a different level. He assesses my body, abilities and mobility and coordinates my pitching and hitting programs around that. Over the time I’ve been working with Mason my fastball pitching velocity has moved from 75-78 to now 90-93 and topping out at 94. This has helped me be able to participate in national level showcases and tournaments, surrounded by the best talent in the country. I have been recruited by several top 25 schools, have received pro interest, and have received 4 scholarship offers to play baseball at the next level.

  • I’ve worked with Mason for 4 years specifically on hitting and enhancing power and performance. My goal was to play baseball at the next level, and that being the case success and failure is not measured by results it is measured by projectability in your move. In addition to focusing on mechanics we have worked to enhance slugging percentage, mental edge in the box and understanding my body to the point where I can feel and self-correct my mistakes. My journey has yielded a lot of success and I am thankful to now be ranked in the top 20 nationally and have received a college scholarship to the University of Alabama.

  • I have been training with Mason for 3.5 years focusing on pitching and performance training. Mason constantly pushes me in every aspect of our training, He also has a strength and mobility program specifically for me and things I need to improve on. Over the time i’ve been training with Mason my overall strength and mobility has increased massively and I have put on over 10+ pounds of muscle. I have only been working on pitching with mason for 4 months and have already gained 8mph on my fastball. Training with Mason has made me a better player off and on the field and now I am getting the opportunity to play baseball at the next level.

Mason’s focus in working with me has been on developing skills that will yield the best future results, including an intense focus on mechanics. Over the time I have been working with Mason my hitting has improved significantly, and I have dramatically increased my strength and power. As a result, I have gotten a scholarship to attend a boarding high school and am ranked by Perfect Game.

  • When I came to NLP at the beginning of the summer, I was throwing “dead-zone” fastballs with around 13 IVB and 12 HB. I also had no legitimate feel for a change-up and was dropping my arm slot to throw breaking balls. With the help of Mason and his programming, I’m now able to consistently throw my fastball at 6-8 IVB and 15-18 HB. I also developed a plus change-up in the low 80s that gets up to -2 VB with 18 HB. Thanks to NLP I was able to take what I learned to the Appalachian League and perform at a high level. I’m looking forward to this upcoming season at Gardner-Webb and I wouldn’t be where I am with out the help of Mason. NLP is truly the cream of the crop when it comes to training. You won’t find a better place in the whole state of South Carolina!

  • I have been working with Mason for about 9 months. I started out with hitting lessons and then added performance training 6 months ago. I have known Mason for a while since he did some offseason hitting with our travel ball team. He is different than other instructors because he is very technical. I am more of a visual learner so I like that he uses video. Since I started working with Mason I am much stronger and my confidence when hitting has increased significantly. My barrel and hard hit rates have increased, with more line drives and fewer pop-ups. All of my training is helping me get to the next level and achieve my future baseball goals.

    Rafael “RJ” Machuca

  • I have trained with Mason for 4 years focusing on pitching and performance training. Our training has extended beyond lessons with highly personalized throwing and workout programs. Over the past several years I have been able to increase my velocity by more than 15 mph, have significantly increased movement of pitches, and have gained 15 to 20 pounds of muscle. This has improved my level of play at the high school level and has given me more looks from colleges.

  • I have been working with Mason for about 7 months, focusing on hitting and he has helped me a ton. Mason breaks down everything for me and really helps me understand my swing. Not only have I improved my swing, but I've seen the results as well. I've improved my batting average, gotten smarter in the box, and gotten stronger as well. This is pushing me to try to be the best player I can be and to compete at a really high level.
